BEEF JERKY AND BREAD APPETIZERS
Filling:
20oz. sour cream
12-14 oz. Beef jerky snipped
1 onion, chopped (green onions are nice)
16oz. Soft cream cheese
Mix above together.
Bread:
Cut the top off a round load of bread and scoop out the insides. Stuff the bread with the beef mixture and put the top back on. Wrap well in foil and warm 11/2 hours in about 325 degree oven. Serve with pieces of the bread -- crackers and even raw vegetables.
BRIE LINK APPETIZERS
1 Round French or white bread
1 lb. Brie cheese
1 pack of German or Kielbasa sausage.
Hollow out one large of French or white bread (Reserve the hollowed out portion). Melt 1 lb brie cheese in the hollowed out bread in the microwave. Cut up the reserved bread into cubes and one pack of German or Kielbasa sausage. Serve the round bread with the cut up bread and sausages for dipping into the hot cheese.
CHICKEN STEW
1 whole small chicken, cut up
1 green pepper, cut into 12 pieces
2 pieces garlic
1 small onion
1 bag of frozen vegetables stew (or frozen peas and carrots)
6 pieces Oberto Hot Links, cut in 3
1 8 oz. can of tomato sauce
Sauté garlic and onion in oil stirring until garlic and onion are slightly brown, then add cut up chicken and dash of salt and pepper. Continue to sauté until chicken is slightly brown. Add tomato sauce and one level measurement of water in a tomato sauce can. Cover until chicken is a bit cooked, then add frozen vegetables, green pepper, and Oberto Hot Links. Salt and pepper to taste; simmer it until sauce is a little bit oily.
SAUSAGE AND POTATO CASSEROLE
1 pkg. Oberto Links
5 sliced potatoes
1 pkg. Frozen broccoli & cauliflower mix
1 can Campbell's broccoli cheese soup
1/2 soup can milk
Salt and Pepper to taste
In frying pan brown potatoes until almost tender. Add frozen vegetables, soup and milk. Let simmer until tender. Slice Oberto links and add to other ingredients for at least 10 minutes. Serves 4
PASTA SAUCE
1 large cans Tomato Sauce
1 can Whole Tomatoes
Cooking Wine
Sugar
Fresh Onions
Fresh Garlic
Fresh Mushrooms
Bacon ( or Sizzlean strips)
Oberto German Sausage
Ground Beef for meatballs
Butter (or Margarine)
Basil, Oregano, Parsley
Add tomato sauce to crushed whole tomatoes in pan and cook over medium heat. Add basil, oregano, parsley, wine, and five spoons of sugar. Cut onions, garlic, and mushrooms and brown in butter. Add to sauce. Cook beef and broil, not fry, in oven. Poke holes in sausages and also broil. Place bacon on broiler pan or use microwave to cook. Cut up bacon and add to sauce along with meatballs and sausage. Let cook for about 1 hour on low heat. When finished, serve on your choice of pasta dish.
PEP-A-GHETTI
Prego spaghetti sauce (large)
Spagethii
10 sticks Oberto pepperoni, chopped
1/2 cup corn, drained
Cook pasta according to package direction. Add sauce, pepperoni & corn. Cook until heated.
Add a side plate of garlic bread and/or a chef salad for a complete meal.
FIREBALL SPAGHETTI
16 oz. Linguini Noodles cooked Al Dente
16 oz. Oberto Southern Brand Hot Sausage
2 tbs. Olive oil
1/8 cup Tabasco or to taste
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
1 to 5 tbs. Cayenne Pepper or to taste
1 tsp. salt
Slice Sausage into 1/2" thick pieces. Cook on medium high to brown both sides. Combine all ingredients and toss thoroughly to coat noodles. Serve at once. Warning: Not for whimps!
CROCKPOT PIZZA
1 pkg. (12 oz.) wide Egg Noodles
1 1/2 lbs. Ground Beef or GroundTurkey
1 medium onion
1 jar 26 oz. spaghetti sauce
1 jar (4 _ ounces) sliced mushrooms drained [optional]
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 package (3 _ ounces sliced Oh Boy! Oberto Pizza Pep)
3 cups (12 ounces) mozzarella cheese/shredded
3 cups (12 ounces) cheddar cheese/shredded/
1. Cook Noodles according to package directions/Drain when finished.
2. Meanwhile, in large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink.
3. Stir in spaghetti sauce, mushrooms and Italian Seasoning.
Assembly:
1. In a 5 qt. Slow cooker coated with non-stick spray, spread 1/3 of Sauce.
2. Cover with 1/3 of Noodles.
3. Cover with 1/3 of Oh Boy! Oberto Pizza Pepperoni.
4. Sprinkle with 1/3 of Mozzarella Cheese.
5. Sprinkle with 1/3 of Cheddar Cheese.
Repeat layers twice.
Cover and cook for 3-4 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.
